Led Puck Lights
Need to know best "stick-up" lights...?
I live in a cramped New York apartment so space is obviously limited and a little of anything makes the place look cluttered.
I need some extra light under a shelf in my bedroom that is a measly 30" and not very deep.
I ordered RiteLite Five LED Pivot and Swivel Puck Lights from Amazon after looking at the vast selection (but all LEDs). I chose these because they swivel and dim.
I was so excited to get them so I could finally ditch the lamp and all they put off is this eerie blue glow.
I want clear light that's flattering and real.
I have pictures of the bad light and of the kind of light I want, but the second picture requires wiring, etc. and I just don't have the room for it and there is no way to hide it.
Does anyone know a GOOD stick-up light?!

There is a regular bulb out by GE that is called "Reveal" and it shows the true colors like daylight. About $4 I think. I would get one of those and try it in a regular lamp. A gooseneck lamp would be good, you can set it on the shelf and turn the neck down towards your reading. Then get light colored bedding, it will brighten up the room. Another one is a clamp on light that you can clip onto the shelf and turn it any way. It comes in all different sizes. Be happy.

RGB LED Puck Lights Above Windows Outside For Some Neat Effects
How do I power my LED lights?
I have 2 vessel sink lighted mounting rings (with LED lights embedded in them) and 2 cabinet LED puck lights. All lights are white. The company that makes them say they "can be hardwired by using a 12 volt DC transformer". How do I do this? I'd like them all on the same switch, by the way.
Knowing the manufacturers name would help to look it up for you. Some LEDs need an external resistor, some have them built in. There are all kinds of possibilities.
Manufacturer, model number, etc.
