Lightweight Pocket Knife
pocket knife?
I'm looking for an-all around pocket knife. Something for hunting, yet could be used to cut boxes or for self defense.
I've narrowed it down to a few companies- SOG, Buck, Benchmade, and Gerber.
I prefer serrated edges, lightweight, and something that has a safety.
My final choice would probably be a SOG tiger-striped trident?

I have the Gerber Serrated F.A.S.T. Draw knife. Carry and use it as much as I can. I love this knife.

What pocket/utility knife would you recommend that fit these criteria?

I'm from Europe and i'm looking for a pocket knife to use in my hiking/camping trips and also for use during long re-enactment events. It has to have a thumb-hole to be openable with one hand, solid build, with both a blade and a serrated section at the bottom, with a locking mechanism, a sturdy grip, lightweight construction if possible and with a blade between 6cm and 10cm.

Please list only knives that have most of the features i request, and when you do, try to list them by precise make/model. I'm asking because i want something precise, not any pocket knife i can get at the local market.
Don't get anything shiny or flashy just get a regular bone handle pocket knife they last for ever my grandfather ordered one from the UK 50 years ago and its been handed down to me Ive had it for 4 years and its the best knife Ive ever seen its a Boker 240GC Grand Canyon Bone Handle Pen Knife Stainless it will last you and a few other generations of your family a long time. but it doesn't have any serrations.
If you want a great knife with serrations i would go with the Gerber Para 2 Serrated Knife it will be a good long lasting knife but not something you would hand down to another generation. it is a very portable knife and you can put it just about anywhere and they sell them at wal mart which is very convenient.
