Liner Quality
good quality eyeliner?
What's some good quality eye-liner I can use? I don't know how to apply liquid eye-liner yet...so tips on how to do that would come in handy also.
I mostly use pencil and retractable eye-liner. I bought my pencil from Walmart. It's a Rimmel-brand product, so I figured it'd be worth the $4.99. Only it rubs off and smears, after an hour....I hate it. I NEVER touch my eyes, so I have no idea why it stays on like that. I'm in middle school, we mostly just sit down in our chairs so it's not like I'm sweating it off. Any help, please?
Also, if anyone knows how...how do I keep my pencil from smearing off so quickly? Is there a type of base, or whatever, I'm supposed to use like you do for eye-shadow?
To be honest, pencil sucks. Just get liquid eyeliner, it's not that hard to put on unless you have a really shaky hand, and plus you can get a felt tip kind which makes it a lot easier to apply. I believe I use the rimmel brand currently, but MAC brand works better (even though it's expensive) It doesn't come off easily,but if you get it on your face it will come off easily so dont worry, also, it doesn't hurt when it gets in your eye btw. Just put it on carefully in the same way you would with a pencil.

I would like a black eye-liner that doesn't smudge and stays put. Any eye-liner (Kohl) brands that you would recommend along with the price and where I could possibly get it? xxx

Covergirl has okay liner too, but I'm trying to stay away from them because I've heard they test on animals.
