Load Model
My son has an older model PS2 that takes forever to load the newer Guitar Heroes. Is there anything I can do?
It takes forever to load Guitar Hero 5. It works well with his other games and his other Guitar Heroes but the last two it can take up to 5 minutes to load a song. He wiped his memory card of the other games but is it still slow. IS there a way to add internal memory like you can do with computers. Or could it be something else?
I think there must be something to do with the machine itself - not the game. The problem will most likely be with the disc reading mechanism - the optical reader that is. After years of use (old type PS2 has been out for more than 4 years) it seems like the optical reader is wearing out. It reads older games smoothly but it fails with some newer games, because newer games usually have more data so it takes longer to read them. And what happens to your son's PS2 is just like what happened to my cousin's PS2 two years ago. Maybe you can try to replace the optical reader with the new one and have it installed by Sony technician. Hopefully this helps.

How do you use the fabric softener dispenser on a Kenmore top load washer?
There is a little plastic cone inside when I open it. If I use it there still seems to be some product remaining after I wash. top load washer model 110.24732300
Just pour the softener into the cone and it somehow knows when to dispense
