Load Personal

computer desktop wont load on personal account, help!?
My computer (toshiba-vista) won't show my desktop. It will go into the guest account but when I log onto my account it just shows a black screen but the mouse is still showing. I can start up the task manager but idk what to press. I need to get my music off of my computer. I've tried restarting it. What more can I do?
I'm gonna assume you have some version of Windows, let's say XP
Windows usually comes with a built-in Administrator account, which has either the same or higher level of system privileges as your personal account, so you should be able to access your music by logging in as Administrator.
However, the Administrator account may be disabled on your computer. So, while logged in as Guest (not sure if Guests can change the following setting, but try it), press Start (windows icon key) + R or Start > Run, and type in "control userpasswords2". This will bring up a dialog that will let you enable the Administrator account if it is disabled. Once the dialog pops up, click on the "Advanced" tab, then click on the "Advanced" button under the label "Advanced user management". Then right click the Administrator account and click "Properties". There check or uncheck the appropriate box to enable the Administrator account.
You might have to restart the computer for this to take effect.
Hope this helps
