How do you reset the unlock/lock/alarm buttons for an 03 impala?
I CANT LOCK OR UNLOCK MY DOOR FROM A DISTANCE LIKE WHEN ITS RAINING. IT WOULD BE NICE TO JUST USE THE KEY CHAIN TO UNLOCK IT BEFORE I GET IN THE CAR.
You should stop by your local chevy dealership.The service dept will check your keyfob and tell you if it needs a new battery.They will also reprogram if needed.Please take all keyfobs with you when you go.Sence if programeing is done all fobs will need done.Hope this helps.

can alarm system cause automatic doors not to lock in car?
I recently unplugged my car alaram because i lost the remote and it would randomly go off and for some reason now i notice that when i am manually trying to lock the doors using the button on the door it like half way locks and stops and the door remains unlocked, do you think this has to do with the alarm
Yes. This happened to me when I was experimenting with my alarm system. When I noticed this, I reset the alarm to the factory default and fixed it.
