A few years ago in 2005, I helped my brother work on an old home built in the 1950's to fix it up and restore it for sale. He told me the house was haunted before we started working as a warning. Once I stepped inside for the first time, I could just feel it was a weird house. When I was taking an old medicine cabinet off the wall in a hallway bathroom, the door opened by itself. So, I came up with a crazy idea to leave the ghosts a note in the bathtub. They never wrote back, (yes I did leave a pen there!), but my brother also told me that when he was alone working in the master bedroom, the ghosts yelled at him to leave and they locked the door behind him. Also, the last time I left the house in his truck, I had turned off the house's lights since it was my last workday, but, as I drove by the house, the lights turned on, and there was nobody in the house because we were all in the truck. So what do you think, ghosts, or faulty wiring and equipment?
Faulty wiring or switches and when you removed the cabinet you changed the stresses in the wall.There are no ghost's

a question for the criminal minded?
seriously for sum homework purposes how would you go about robbing a building w. no window access, you could prolly break the windows n but that would most likely draw too much attention from surrounding homes, no roof access doors always locked. all rooms n closets in bldng. r usually locked. my project is to do a security evaluation and come up with a master security plan. r the employees really the only ppl i have to worry about or can ne of u corrupt give me something to think about?
If you are going to do the security evaluation for a building, then you must have the blueprints for the building to see just where other access places might be. One thing I had in mind is through the basement, if suites have an adjoining basement.or maybe even shared attics. Breaking windows isn't the only way to enter via locked units. You can cut the glass, quietly and insert your arms to unlock the window. As stated in an other answer, people can hide within the structure during operating hours. I am sure that employees might be another source of security problem, so after discussing how much security the owner is willing to fore go for personal confidentiality. You and he might discuss ways of monitoring his staff and the coming and going of customers..
