Lock Safe Combination Need to open a safe. It's a home safe bought at walmart. I have key but have lost the combination. help
It's a heavy safe but I could carry it to a lock smith. I have had it long enoung I don't have the original papers. I put the combination away for safe keeping but did too good of a job and cannot find it. Drilling it out will cost about $100 and will ruin it. Any ideas would help. This is in the middle tennessee area.
Depending on when you bought it, Some safes automatically come with a 3-5 yr warranty from the manufacture. Look on the safe and see if there is a number on it. I've done this before and did not need a receipt. Unfortunately I was about a month over my warranty.

it's a sentry safe the safe's door is opened but my litttle bro was playing with it and now the combination is locked and we can't close it... any tips???
i already asked this question and people told me to enter the combination, but how am i supposed to do that when the COMBINATION LOCK IS NOT MOVING!!!

If it is a dial-type combination lock, and the dial will not turn with the door open (as I understand your post), reach along the HINGE side of the door for a button or switch that would normally be depressed when the door is closed. Hold that button down with a finger while dialing the combination. That may work.
