please tell me what type of germany gun is this?
i am having a gun of my uncle with myself now, its a germany make mention as PERFECTA MOD.G3CAL.6MM PLATZ ( PTB 165 )small size very handy in black clour weights around 350 grams,i dont know wheter its a hand pistol or a revalver .
my uncle is no more now but when i check the weapon with out using a bullet it works it has a clip like lock near the left hand side of the triger to lock for saftey purpose.and a hole on the top of the gun which is for the cap to thrown out when the bullet is been fired from the gun.
so please tell me some thing much about the gun like when it was manufactured and what type of bullet should i have to use, how many bullets can i put in to that gun and how much distance shall that bullet can travel in meters when it is been fired and from where shall i buy it in india.i am afriad to show that gun to the armoury shop to clear my doughts thats why i ask you through yahoo answer if possiable please give me your mail id for clear my futher doughts.
Look at the first link. It's a PERFECTA Model G3, which is a blank firing pistol, also called a "Starter Pistol" or an "Alarm Pistol".
It only makes noise, it does not fire bullets.
These are used to start races in track events, for ships to use as alarms, to scare flocks of birds away from crops, etc. They also fire off a signal flare or a small explosive bomb to scare off birds.
The cartridges it uses are 6 mm Flobert (which are .22 blanks). Call these people and see if they have it....
