Should i purchase this 1992 BMW 325i with only 34,885 miles for 5995

I wasnt to sure if this deal was good or not, i looked up the carfax history and it says it has 14 records, i havent actually paid yet to check out the report, i was just wondering if this bmw was worth getting, I also read other peoples questions and answers about how long a bmw 325 lasts for, so far i've seen lots of answers saying it will last for 200k miles easily, but i am also afraid that since this car only has almost 35k miles, it might have more problems such as kept in a garage for long period of time or just broke down , or been in the shop its whole life getting worked on.
If anyone has any answers or suggestions please let me know.
No, don't get this car.
1) 92 was the first year of the e36 model, and you should never get a first year model, especially one of this age.
2) The price doesn't seem that good.
3) If you like that body shape, you should look into 93+, 92 did not have Vanos. Only 93+ had them, which mean better low end torque.
4) Its low mileage, but some times its better to be driven. You want to make sure the rubber parts have not hardened over time.
If those things don't bother you, then go ahead an get it. Its a great car and if maintained properly, it will easily last a long time. Engine and drive train are great, interior will fall apart first.

Jaguar XK8 Gear Box in Safe Mode?
Hi
My car got hit in the rear whilst parked outside a shop. It was in Park at the time, but the damage wasn't that bad. Now the gear box is locked in safe mode and will only let me use the 2 top gears, It still drives and runs fine, but 0 to 20 MPH takes about 20mins.
I'm not driving it, does any one know how I can switch off the safe mode so I can drive it to my garage and get it looked at, or is the box stuffed?
Any advice would be really great. what would you do in my boat?

Drive it to the garage in safe mode. That is the purpose of 'safe mode'. This mode keeps you from damaging the car further by driving it to a repair facility. Apparently the collision caused transmission damage.
