After receiving a defective product and having it quidkly replaced by the company, I have come to really enjoy my rice maker. I primarily bought it for its "porridge" setting and have not regretted it. Making old fashioned oat meal has become a breeze, and I now enjoy it six days a week as part of a healthy nutrition plan. Making good rice has also become effortless, and I am now beginning to experiment with variations on the basic recipe. It is also a breeze to clean up after using it. I am happy with my purchase.

I've only had the cooker for a few months, but so far it has done an excellent job on everything I've used it for. I've cooked rice, steamed eggs, veggies and have always had consistent results. So far, so good. I have no reason not to recommend this product, as it has worked very well for me.

I owned two cheap $20 rice cookers from Walmart. When cooking they would spit rice water all over the place (always a nightmare to clean up), and cooked rice would stick to the bottom (so a lot of rice wasted). I bought this unit for a change and I'm very satisfied. The non-stick surface works perfectly; not a single grain of rice clings to the inner surface. The enclosing lid keeps all chemical/physical reactions inside so I don't need to worry about cleaning the counter-top. The timing functionality comes very useful, as I can set it to start cooking 10 hours later, so it'll be ready when I get back from work.

1) I don't think petco does, and I don't have any petlands near me.
2)There are chemicals, but they are a temporary fix and are often pretty harsh on the fish with the whole up and down of chemistry. If it's not that bad, I suggest leaving it rather than chemically treating it.
3) I believe that mercury, I think most are mercury, is the most accurate.

5)You must have great filtration and hardy stock : ) My 60 is overstocked, technically, but I've had more problems in my 20 than the over done 60 has ever had. Good healthy fish, good water quality management, regular changes and not overfeeding are all great ways to have a happy healthy tank. You've probably also got pretty calm and easy going fish. A packed aggressive tank is different than a packed community tank with apporpriate fish living together.
6) The drip ones are far more accurate.
