an airsoft gun question?
i want to get into airsoft. i do not want a crappy little gun, my friends all have almost top of the line guns. i want a gun that has good long range capabilities, and a lot of add on options. i.e. scopes, red dots, etc... i want one with a descent velocity, and a descent storage capacity, i want one that has the capability to go 3 shot burst and full auto, although i want it to be semi auto as well so i can snipe, i like to snipe, but a sniper rifle would limit me to just sniping. please give me suggestions. also should i go battery or spring? i am leaning towards battery. thanks all
Your requirements cant be met. You cant snipe with an assault rifle. You might want to buy a Systema (Top brand) for it meets most of your requirements but its freakin expensive! Since you are just getting into airsoft I dont think a Systema is for you. You could improvise though. The three round burst, you dont need it as a setting. Why not just hold down the trigger for like half a second on full auto? Thats what most people do because firing full auto for a long time is damaging to your gun.
Okay so you want good long range. So you should get a gun with a longer barrel. You want a lot of add ons, so you will need a gun with a lot of RIS rail systems, which many M4's have. Decent velocity, i would say 300-400 fps. Decent storage, you should get a mid- high capacity magazine. ( make sure to get extra magazines.) Most AEGs(electric) have semi and full auto capability so ur fine.
Oh by the way, you cant full auto with spring guns because you need to manually pull back (re cock) the gun every shot. So thats out of the question. Now for this type of Electric gun, you will need to spend AT LEAST 100$ for an average quality gun. DO NOT BUY A CHEAP $20-60 LPEG (its tempting) but it is not worth it, unless all you want is to show of your gun.But for airsoft, its the insides that matter the most. GET A METAL GEARBOX inside it. Most AEGS do. (AEG means automatic electric gun.) So here are a list of brands you can look into.
JING GONG: Very good quality for the value. Most guns $100-$200 and are powerful. Great clones. I own a g36c and it is VERY well made and I love it.
Tokyo Mauri: Professional standard. These are reliable and are used by many. Not very powerful but can be upgraded. These are better than Jing Gong because JG clones Tokyo Mauri. $200-400
Echo 1: Better quality than Jing gong, very little price difference. They basically take JG guns and fix them up and make them better. $150-300
If your desperate try, WELL: this company makes OK guns. Quality is not that great. However, it is affordable. Usually from $80- 120.
CYMA: makes good AK47s/
Dboys: Little less than JG but about same price.
So get a long barreled M4 with high cap, metal gearbox. Check out jing gong and echo 1 first as i reccomend them both the highest.
