Lot Security System
How is a HOME SECURITY system installed on an existing home?
Is there a lot of drilling? Pulling wires?
Wireless is a good option, a matter of fact I have a wireless system for my office and it worked great because the installation was next to nouthing compaired to several thousand dollars if they would have had to run hard wire.
The only disadvantage of wireless is the fact you need to replace the batteries about once per year in the sensors.
As far as a wired system, in a typical house they are not that hard to install. In a basic system the company will alarm the front and rear door and then install 1 or 2 motion sensors.
Its not really necessary to wire every window in a house, if someone is going to come in its going to be either the front or rear door, and if they do make it in through a window the motion sensor will take care of it. Generally motion sensors can be placed in a hall way, because if someone breaks in your bedroom window chances are they are going to go outside your bedroom to other parts of the house.
But a basic install might take 4-5 hours to complete with wall fishes, and some more tougher installs it might take the installer an entire day
