Why doesn't the USMC incorporate savate kicks in their combat systems anymore?
If you seen USMC hand to hand combat manuals before WW2,you will see steps on how to perform specific extremely practical Savate kicks such as the Coup de Pied Bas.But if you seen more recent USMC combat systems suchs as LINE and MCMAP,you will not see any savate kicks at all!Alot of the savate kicks in older USMC manuals were very practical and have been proven to work in warfare close quarters situations!So why don't more modern USMC systems like MCMAP incorporate savate kicks like the older combat systems did?
As a Marine I had MCMAP training and it very basic. Chances are in close quarters combat your going to be armed and fighting an opponent that has a weapon so much less time is focused on hand to hand combat. I really feel the system is insufficient.

USMC question: how do i setup my dress blue white belt?
left my manual at the office and i need to get it set up. How does this damn thing work.
alright, bear with me its hard to explain. you have your face plate the buckle and two little piecesthe long skinny eyelet thing). take one end of the belt put it through the face plate. now take a little piece, put it through the same end that went through the face plate. take that belt end and put it through the same hole on the face plate that the belt went through. that little piece should act as a stopper so the belt doesnt move. repeat same instructions for the other side. hope that help and you understand it.
