2.8 million volt stun gun. how bad would this hurt?
ok i just found the voltage of my stun gun at first i thought it was a tazer but it comes out to be a 2.8 million volt stun gun. now how bad would this hurt? what is the diffrence between tazers/ stun guns? how much voltage does a regular tazer have?
A stun gun has fixed contact points, and a taser fires probes which are attached to the unit by thin wires. This allows a taser to create more separation between the probes, which causes incapacitation because your muscles to lock up. Because of the fixed contact points on a stun gun, incapacitation does not occur. You are only subject to pain at the point of contact.
A taser generally has 50,000 volts. Stun guns have much more.
Because the taser has more separation between the contact points, it can be effective with less voltage. The stun gun relies on pain only, so it has higher voltage.

My friend says he has a 1.8 million volt taser...is that possible and what would that pain feel like?
that would most definitely be lethal (ie you would die)... and NO there are no tasers on the market with that kind of voltage.
The average taser run between 20,000 & 150,000 volts, with a low current so it's not lethal.
