Can the Catholic religious priest spend his money to go to a hotel and enjoy his life as he wish?
My best friend is a catholic religious priest and He is a teacher in a technical college. Does he has any income and can he handle his money as his wish. Can he spend his money to go to a hotel and enjoy his life as he wish?
The enjoy means.. can he has sex with a woman as he wish??
***PS: I am not catholic.. , but I love Catholic people
It depends on what kind of priest he is.
There are two types of Catholic priests:
A religious priest is ordained into a religious order like the Society of Jesus (Jesuit) or Franciscans. He receives duty assignments from superiors in their respective religious orders. Some religious priests specialize in teaching, whereas others serve as missionaries in foreign countries, where they may live under difficult and primitive conditions. Other religious priests live a communal life in monasteries, where they devote their lives to prayer, study, and assigned work. These priests take vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience.
A diocesan priest is ordained to serve in a specific geographical area (called a diocese). He ministers under the leadership of a bishop, and will more than likely serve as a parish priest. These priests take vows of chastity and obedience but not poverty.
So if he is a religious priest then no he cannot "spend his money to go to a hotel and enjoy his life as he wish" because he has no money of his own.
If he is a diocesan priest then, yes, he can go on vacation and "spend his money to go to a hotel and enjoy his life as he wish."
Both types of priests are celibate.

How to Book the Best Hotel Room for Your Money
How much money will it cost to book two flights, a hotel room for a week, food money, and extra spending...?
money. Is it better to go in june or at christmas? I need a hotel room that is four stars, and for a couple. do you have any suggestions on where to saty or what airlines to use? How much are adult passports? Please if you don't know the answer, don't write anything or I will report you. Do you know of any hotels where they have a pool, and they have an inhotel resturaunt? I think that my parents would like that. And which hotels have the best satifastion, and things like that? And what about airlines, or travel agencies.Please this is for a pair of extremely hard working parents who need a break before they go nuts. not literally but it might happen.
P.S. Are the American Virgin Islands cheaper? And it would be at least a little cheaper because of no passport money but still.
I cost my husband and I about $4,000 to stay 7days/nights in Jamaica. That included flights, hotel, and food. We stayed at Sandals Montego Bay. It was a really nice place to stay at. There were a couple of pools/hot tubs and of course the ocean. If they don't want to, they don't have to leave the resort. The food was excellent. For the evening meals, usually they were candle lit and you had to dress up a little bit, no jeans. A couple of the restaurants you had to dress up in a dress for woman and collared shirts for men. At this particular resort, I think there were 4 or 5 restaurants to choose from, different kinds of cuisine.
An adult passport costs about $120 per person. To fly from Wisconsin to Jamaica was about 4 hours. We went through a travel agency who put us on an international flight, but the name wasn't very well known. I think it was through Ryan International. If you have any other questions just let me know.
