Nij Iiia
Body armor/ bullet resistant vest question?
I have two vests, a nij rated II soft vest and a IIIa vest. Both are concealable and were used by law enforcement, they are point blank. I don't know if all that info was necessary, but my question is: is the way a vest is stored when not in use a factor in the vest's ability to stop bullets? Because I have one hanging in my closet and another one in my car since I am a pizza delivery man. I appreciate any thoughtful answers, but if any law enforcement officers weigh in, that'd be great. Thank you.
Constant bending and moisture can weaken the vest, so the manufacturer suggests storing it flat and level. The next best alternative is hanging.
If you look on the panels, they will have the date of manufacture. They are only guaranteed for 5 years, but we have one at the range much older than that. We shoot it up once in a while, it will still stop a .40 cal round.

Buy a wind filter for your camera
Not a well conducted test. It may be a fine product but why not put up a clean piece of glass every few shots – too cheap ? Very hard to see results with the shattered glass. Why not start with the small weapons first, next time.
