how do i convert a file from open office format to ms office format?
I recently did up a copy of my resume on oppen office and since then i have gotten rid of that program and i started using ms office again. But when i went to view my resume again ms office wont read it. Do i have to redownload open office again or is there a way to change the file so ms office will read it?
I don't own Open Office, but try this:
When saving the file, click the down arrow next to the file type area. Try choosing one of the formats Word will recognize.

Make it so i cannot open file with office 2007?
i want to format a file so i cannot open it with office 2007 or anything that comes with the computer. can anyone help? maybe a third party app?
Office 2007 does not come with the computer by default. If you simply want to prevent a casual opening, change the file extension. Like changing letter.DOC to letter.XYZ.
If you REALLY don't want it opened, delete it. There is encryption software for cases in between.
