NCLEX Examinations
Under the guidance of its membership, NCSBN has developed two licensure examinations used by its Member Boards to test the entry-level nursing competence of candidates for licensure as registered nurses and as licensed practical/vocational nurses. These examinations, the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, are administered with the contractual assistance of a national test service. The NCLEX Examinations Department is also responsible for practice analyses necessary to support the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examination development process. NCSBN has also developed and co-owns the largest competency evaluation program for nurse aides in the United States, known as the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program, the NNAAP.

Fingerprints required for Employment?
I had my fingerpirnts taken two weeks ago. then the employer said i have to do it again because it's smudged. the second time the employer said they can't give me the job because my fingerprints didn't clear. I wasn't convicted of anything. All i know is my fingerprints have lines due to washing hands. And the lady that worked in the fingerprinting office said that it's because i have these lines that makes my figerprints smudged.
Did anyone experience this issue? And is it fair for them to let me wait all this time just to tell me i didn't get the job because of a fingerprint issue?
Depending upon the type of position you are attempting to get, the employer may be well within their rights to ask for your prints. That serves as a deterrent for any temptation you may encounter while employed there. If you really want the job, get it done correctly, and go with the program. Making waves just costs you opportunities.
