How to lock pick Lock Picking a Master Lock # 3 three Padlock Lock Pick
What is the best pad/key lock on the market?
I have American Locks but are there better ones?
American 700 series are great locks for the money. If price is no object, Multi-lock, Medico and others make super locks that are tough and pick/drill resistant. If you really want to get crazy, Seargent and Greenleaf make locks to specifications for DOD and other gov't agencies.
But bear in mind that a $500 padlock is useless on a five dollar hasp. Most of the time, good padlocks are defeated by attacking the hasp, or whatever else they are attached to. The lock holds, but the door, or chain, or whatever gives way.
