PadLocks Lock Red
Trouble with a Magnavox MPTV68A Televison. I am lock out from doing anything.turn on&off thats all.?
When I turn the TV on I get the normal start with blue screen, then a little red padlock appears at the bottom of the screen. I am then unable to do anything with the remote, or the controls on the TV. The only function them do is to turn the thing off. I can find nothing in the manual about a child lock at all.
yo u might want ta see if the batteries are good if so try this CHILD LOCK CODE.......
Press VOL+/- buttons or +(RED) / -(YELLOW) buttons to set it ON
or OFF. If you set it ON, the keys on the TV set are disabled and only the
remote control functions.

I need help, How do you unlock a "CENTREX" TV?
I accidentally pressed a button on the remote( i dont know which button) and the TV was locked. There is a good show coming up on Tv and i seriouly dont want to miss it..Please someone Help. What do i do to unlock it. When i switch it on there is a red locked padlock on the top left corner.
Disconnect from power source. Most equipment has to be restarted. If it has battery back up, disconnect from this as well.
