Can I read Kinkle or Sony ebooks on my PC?
Are the Kindle/Sony ebooks downloadable to my PC? Can I create my own personal library of ebooks I have purchased, and use it on all of my computers, or are they node locked? How does the digital rights management work? I don't want anyone's proprietary reader, but I do read a lot of free content online using my various PC's. I don't mind paying for books, and I like reading on my desktop and laptop PCs. I see very little additional value in a dedicated reader - I need a fully functioning PC pretty much everywhere I go anyway, so I would not willingly drag a reader around.
I don't know about Sony, but yes the Kindle has a Kindle for PC ap. You'll be able to have your book on up to 6 devices (or in your case computers) in almost all instances (every once in awhile the books are more limited).

Three people use same cpu, can each person conceal private digital pics from others to view or open file up??
Three people in family, three different digital cameras and download hardware, all using the same computer. Can each person put a lock , block , or something secret or private to prevent other users of cpu from viewing the other persons private and personal pics. If it can be done we sure would like your help and step by step instructions---please????? All of us are currently downloads pics to ( My Documents) and anyone and everyone who has access to cpu can view pics. Help-help- help-please-please. Thank you so much..
Put them in a different folder and zip them up with winzip and password protect the folder.
You can also make three seperate password protected accounts on that PC, but if someone logs in safe mode as an administrator, they can change the passwords.
Zip them up and then password protect.
