Does it amaze you that "people" sat quietly for decades?
while the government took away our right to control our own property, and our right of personal self defense, and our right to spend our money on our children's education as we see fit; Yet they squeal like stuck pigs if the government wants to listen to a few phone calls to keep u all from being blown to bits?
Good points. Washington D.C. spends more per student per year than any other school district, yet they have the highest rate of failure and high school drop outs. Congress thinks the answer to every problem is to ignore the root cause and throw money at it to divert blame. The Teachers Unions have politicized education in the country. Michigan state did away with their religious courses and replaced one of them with a study called "How To Be Gay". The schools have revised history, some won't teach about the Framers at all. In my schools years in the 50's and 60's we were taught the three"R"s As a retired Police Officer, during my years of service, I have seen the results of those that chose to keep a self defense weapon in the home and those that wished they had. I get so sick of the squealers about the Patriot Act. It has prevented many attacks, The planned attacks on the Sears Tower, the planned attacks on the Golden Gate Bridge and dozen more. Not one of them can name one person or a right that has been infringed on of theirs. They would rather say "this is what could happen" not realizing it is easier for a local police department to get a search warrant for your home or a tap on your phone line from an anonymous tip than it is for Federal Law Enforcement to invoke the Act. I believe it is all under educated Bush and America haters. They will be the ones that squeal the loudest when a another 9-11 occures. Probably most of them are very young, to young to have lived through much of the history making events in the U.S.A. The Senate still has not acted on the bill that passed in the House to limit the use of Eminent Domain.

What is "Swine flu"?
Swine flu is a viral infection basically found in pigs that is caused by swine influenza virus. It is very rare to get swine flu in humans except in some cases where people have direct contact with pigs. Children should be strictly prohibited from close contact and an infected breast feeding mother should express her breast milk, and the child should be fed by someone else. If the investigations come out positive, then the infected individual should be quarantined in an isolated ward in a hospital and treatment started to prevent complications.

The role of face masks and respirators as the first line of defense against the virus is still controversial. But these offer additional protection against the air borne illness.N-95 respirators are better than face masks or surgical masks but it is hard to breathe through them for extended periods and are inconvenient to wear for children and people with facial hair.
