Pig Personal
I want to switch my Guinea Pigs bedding from Carefresh to just regular fleece any personal experiences?
also I would like to know if by putting a towel under the fleece would help keep the fleece a little dryer or newspaper let me know what you use underneath the fleece thanks.
Carefresh on my big cage every two weeks $24.99 I don't think so I bought the fleece just need to know what to use underneath a towel or newspaper?
I personally find newspaper better... towels is fine but they pee a lot and also when they're drinking they usually dribble some so it ends up very wet.
I have to change the newspaper everyday, so I don't know how it would be with towels.. you may need to clean them every few days.
Also newspaper is free here so it's a cheaper option for me

Which do you think is more loving and trusting; a male or female guinea pig?
Hi, I am planning on adopting a guinea pig and I was just curious if anyone had a personal favorite between the two. I want to make sure the adorable, bundle of fur can match my likeness (if there is a difference) so we both can be very, very happy =]
Is there a noticeable difference or is it just their individual personality?

If you have socialized your animal well the gender doesn't matter. Males can be aggressive or pussy cats, females can be crabby or cupcakes. It depends on the individual. There is more variation between individuals than there is between genders or breeds. Your best bet is to select an animal from a breeder or a rescue/shelter since they tend to be both healthier and better socialized than pet shop animals.
