Plastic Knife
Can you cut gold with a plastic knife.?
My buddies and I are having a debate on this. Can you, in fact, cut a block of pure gold in half, with an ordinary plastic knife?
Btw, I'm talking about using a regular old plastic knife you might use to eat with. White and flimsy.
Gold is pretty soft but you didn't say what kind
of plastic and how hard. A cheap food knife would
wear out first, but there are some very good plastic
knives made to pass through metal detectors,
and they could probably do it.
Remember, you can cut down an oak tree with
a razor blade, if you have enough patience,

Cliff Face - Painting with a plastic knife
Can I use red plastic wrap to cover the glass for the light on my fish tank for my black ghost knife?
I read that using a red filtered light will do wonders for the BGK and I was wondering if I can use this cheap little method instead of buying a filter. I have a fluorescent light in there right now so it doesn't get hot to the touch. Any suggestions?
Buying a filter would be better. Like a previous answer said, the plastic could melt (that'd be a yucky mess)
