Police Interviews
Do the suspects in a police investigation get a transcript of all interviews about them?
Help, this is really crucial. It is a drug case. Who would possibly give any info on a suspect if their interview is handed over to the suspect before trial? Any tips on where to look for the laws on this? Thanks
The following apply to the United States of America,
First, one must remember that the accused is entitled to his/her day in court and to confront the witnesses against him/her. Confront here means question in court, not go toe to toe.
Second, there is a principle known as discovery where the accused's attorney gets to see evidence, including statements made against the accused, in order to be able to mount a defense. Now there's the rub, the attorney might be unethical enough to reveal names of witnesses to the accused prior to trial.
I would suggest speaking with the prosecuting attorney about your concerns.

Police Interviews?
I recently applied to join the police and I have been called now to the interview stage. Has anyone been to one of these and if so, what type of questiosn do they ask? Also what do the tests involve?
General questions about life experience - how you would deal with certain situations - there may also be some role plays too. Good luck.
