Portable Car Anyone know of a good portable travel car seat?
We're going to Las Vegas in 3 weeks and we need a safe travel car seat for our 2 year old daughter. She's not quite big enough for a booster seat (she's 33 lbs., 36 in.). We need something portable that would fit in the back of her stroller basket. Anyone have any ideas?
If you rent a car, you can also rent a car seat. Your daughter isn't even close to being ready for a booster. Pediatricians recommend a 5 pt harness for as long as possible--your next seat should be one like the Britax Regent which will hold her in a 5 pt harness until she's 80 lbs. The Sunshine Kids Radian 65 or Radian 80 will hold her until she's 65 or 80 lbs and the seat does fold somewhat and it's much narrower than any other seat on the market--3 of them will fit easily across a back seat. It may or may not fit in the stroller basket. I doubt you'll find one that does, aside from a booster which wouldn't help her in a crash.

Car portable dvd player and battery effect?
i want to mount a portable dvd player in my sis car as she is driving to canada for summer with kids ,its 12 hrs drive ,just want to know does it`ll effect her car battery.she owns Camry 2001. Does all portable car dvd players have same battery usage
When the car is on the road, the battery is not used except it is being charged. On the other hand dynamo replaces battery function, so there is no question of affecting car battery.
