is limewire pro a safe programe and will the music i download off it effect my ipod?
is there any danger of viruses being in the songs?

I would say no no its not safe, unless you can recognize which files are safe or not. I use it without any problems, you have to look at certain details of the file you are downloading. There are viruses, spyware and other badd stuff on Limewire, but unless you know nothing about computers, then it will be fine. If your really are clueless and don't wanna screw up your computer, i'd recommend you just your songs off itunes...
Some stuff to look for... hmmm... If your looking to download songs: -select search type as Audio -ONLY download files that are mp3 (you can see it under the "type" column at the top) -make sure the quality is 5 stars -make sure you download the file that has the "highest #" under the "#" -a final check is that the file size roughly matches an audio file size.. maybe ranging from 2,000Kb to 7,000Kb
So my final comment on if Limewire is safe...If you follow these guidelines, you wont have a problem
As for all other files such as videos etc., i would not recommend it.

Haha, I bet you guys think it's so easy to answer, BUT FAIL. I know how to start (spam f8 or turn off with power button) in windows xp, but when i press safe mode a bunch of random codes and scripts come out, just staying there w/o effect, AND yes i pressed random keys, help please.
1. Remove all floppy disks and CDs from your computer, and then restart your computer. 2. When prompted, press F8. If Windows XP Professional starts without displaying the Please select the operating system to start menu, restart your computer. Press F8 after the firmware POST process completes, but before Windows displays graphical output. 3. From the Windows Advanced Options Menu, select a safe mode option.
If you only want to enter Safe Mode occasionally and have trouble using the F8 key, you can use the System Configuration Utility (msconfig). Go to Start|Run and enter “msconfig” (without quotes). When the utility opens, click on the tab BOOT.INI. Highlight the operating system listed in the section [operating systems] as shown in the figure below. Next put a check by the entry /SAFEBOOT as shown below. Also click the radio button MINIMAL Then reboot. The system should open in Safe Mode. i live in korea town if you want a heartbeat this is not the area its not that bad far as people giving you problems but its getting too be alot of homeless here there are gangs the only thing it is close to all buses and red line is right down the street and you can get to anywhere from there the you can find cheaper rents here i pay 575 for a single which is pretty large full bath full kitchen and utilities included parking is not so good here there is a good club right down the street but herd its closing but you are in a heart beat of trans that can whip you down town there are good clubs there all in all its not that bad ps koreaens drive crazy they dont stop of signs and they will hit you and offer you money not tocall the police
