This strange, cheap yard sale nail dryer?
I bought this cheapo nail dryer made in China that came with no directions. It's electric. Can someone help me? It's bright fluorescent pink on top, has a clear removable tray under it (that makes it shut off when you take it out), it has a tiny fluorescent bulb in it and underneath it, is the nail dryer, (which is the only part I understand)! My question is: what in the world is this fluorescent pink thing about with the bulb, & what's up with the removable clear tray? It almost looks like you can pour something into it. I'm at a loss, since I'm not that big on fingernail stuff, other than drying them faster. I'm thinking it has something to do with those acrylic fake nails or something. Help!
Here is a large selection of nail dryers produced in China. If you can't find it here, try searching 'Chinese nail dryer' using www.dogpile.com for more.

Guinea pig cage, covering the wire?
I have a wire guinea pig cage that is two levels. The bottom is made of metal and I want to replace those trays. What can I use in the bottom? (It is open like many dog pens are with the removable tray)
It is a multi level cage with the 'ramp' and the levels made of wire. I do not want a wire bottom cage for the piggies, what can I use to cover them that will be easy to clean?
They will not be touching the wire. I know wire is bad which is why I'm asking this question.
I am not just putting bedding, I am talking about a material that will not allow them to touch the wires at all ![]()
You need to get rid of what cage ASAP. Wire bottom caging is way too much for a guinea pigs sensitive feet, and this coming from a fact. Wire bottom cages cause guinea pigs to get bumblefoot, even if you put bedding or something over it, it won't work. You should think about getting a new cage all together, one with more space! Yeah I know, but the wires will still be there. I highly recommend you get a new cage.
However, if you completely refuse to do so, the best thing you could do is buy some towels and a fleece and use that as a bedding. It might be a bit more harder to do because of the cage you have, but it should still work. Just make sure you put enough down so you can't feel the wires and there is enough padding. ![]()
