can a landlord enter into a residential mailbox whenever they want to?
i rented my house on line. my landlord didn't meet me until the day to move in. security deposit was paid and rent until june with 76.00 onto july's rent. after seeing me face to face it was clear she was not happy with me. i am african american and she is caucasian
What the heck does entering a residential mailbox have to do with your discrimination problem?
Technically, yes she does have legal rights to the mail box. HER name is on the title and he may be receiving mail there such as tax bills, mortgage information, etc.
Why did you rent a place online without seeing it first? That is honestly one of the dumbest things I have heard in a long time. You NEVER agree to rent, purchase, whatever, ANYTHING until you see it yourself in person. THEN you put deposits down, etc.
If you feel you are being discriminated against due to your skin color, you need to get an attorney.
