Resistant Glass Bulletproof
Hockey Glass or Bulletproof glass, which is stonger?
Im always afraid someone is going to break into my house through the windows, so my girlfriend and i were talking about which one was stronger, bulletproof or hockey glass, and were not sure. so which is most burgeler resistant, bulletproof glass or hockey glass?
I like Gary H's answer, but I'll throw one more thought in here. What kind of stress or force is it you want the glass to resist? Basically, "bulletproof" (which doesn't really exist, as Gary points out) is made to resist very high speed objects with small footprints and mass. The plexiglass at hocky rinks (unless I'm very wrong, there's no silicon glass in it) is made to resist slower objects with much greater mass. Hocky rink glass wouldn't work well to stop bullets and "bulletproof" glass wouldn't work well to stop hockey players.
