Safe Electronic Lock My hotel room got robbed today and the only one here was the housekeeper, do I have any legal rights?
They took my Bose headphones. I am in Louisiana and there is no safe in the room. The hotel doesn't offer to keep valuables in their safe. There are no "limited liability" type of signs posted anywhere as far as I have seen. They have electronic locks and they did a "lock interrogation" which showed that only the housekeeping woman entered the room. They say that this is an unsolvable case and have no liability whatsoever. Please tell me that's not the case! My employer has me staying at this hotel for the next month on a job, so I am really worried about getting the rest of my stuff slowly stolen one by one or housekeeping deciding to mess with my toothbrush.

We bought a fire safe because I felt that as a family we needed a safe and secure place to keep all our important papers and documents. Everyone has things that need to be protected from fire or a burglary. We wanted something that wouldnt take up a lot of room, but would have enough space inside to store everything that we needed to keep safe.
The fire safe that we purchased has a combination lock. There are some safes that have a key lock or an electronic lock. There are some that have a combination of more than one way to open it. We just wanted something basic. Our safe has a 1-hour fire protection. If your home were involved in a fire this safe would protect the contents inside if it were to burn for up to an hour. It is fitted with four live locking bolts.
Inside the fire safe has plenty of room for everything we need to store. There is a shelf in the middle that divides the top area from the bottom area. This utilizes the space very well. It will hold folders and binders that lie flat. We don't have anything of great value in ours, but it gives me peace of mind knowing that our items are safe. Its great for storing things such as the house deeds, car titles, birth certificates, jewelry and other collectables. We have plenty of room left for more things we may want to add in the future.
The fire safe is fixed on the bottom where it can be bolted to the floor. That is a nice addition so that you can protect against a burglar getting in and taking it. The hardware that is needed to bolt the safe to the floor, has to be purchased separately.

You can check all the fuse's but most of the relays on the immobilser circuit will be built in to the ecu. A £1000 sounds like quite a lot of money for a part that is held on by one left hand thread bolt !! If you look up under the dashboard you should be able to see a shiny aluminium metal box on the steering column, it can be removed by removing the 30 torx bolt (left hand thread) and because the steering lock is already released, it should come off really easily. The new one does need to be coded to the car, but that is really easy to do ! you just put the key card in and start the engine !
