How safe are herbal high products?

my son's mate bought some herbal poppers in a games shop the other day and wondered if they could be dangerous??

think they were called heinz beanz poppers or something

Herbal products are not necessarily safe and don’t ever think that herbal products are safer than medicines because they are made from natural ingredients or made from nature. Nevertheless, many plants are poisonous, right? Although herbal products and supplements are advertised as natural; they aren’t necessarily natural to the human body. It also contain different side effects.

Are NaturaLatch latex nipples safe to use if they smell bad?

I've been feeding my twins with Playtex NaturaLatch Slow-flow nipples and I just noticed today while I was cleaning them that they smell HORRIBLE. But then again, baby formula stinks - they're on Enfamil A+ lactose-free and were on Heinz before that, and Similac at the hospital - all very stinky. Is it normal for baby nipples to develop a smell like this though? is it maybe because of the latex? I'm worried it might not be safe.. but at the same time I know nothing about babies and for all I know, this smell might be normal.
These are the Drop-Ins System nipples, and on the box it says not to re-boil them. Just to boil them for their first use and then wash in hot water after that. So is it actually ok to boil them again?

I would boil the nipples in hot water for 5 minutes. and then re-wash them. if they dont smell any better, i would throw them away and buy different ones. when my childs bottle nipples smell funny, i wash them really well and then put them in the dishwasher. that usually takes care of the problem
