Safe Interior
Cleaning the interior of my car?
I figured since today is a nice day I'll clean out my car, but I have no Armor-All and I don't see the sense in going all the way to town to get some. Are there any household cleaners that are safe for the interior of the car?
Armor all is over rated..... Just use a small amount if dish detergent to remove dirt, oils and french fry greases.....
All armor all does if give it a greasy waxy sleazy feel that looks nice but just traps dust....
I don't know about you but I like clean clean.... Not armor all greasy looking clean....
Get 2 buckets of water.... Have 1 bucket with some soapy water / dish detergent... and the other bucket with clean clear water to rinse off.... That's it!

Interior Decorations and Architecture is on Demand
Interior design is a profession that primarily deals with anything found inside a space - walls, windows, doors, finishes, textures, light, furnishings and furniture. All of these elements are used by interior designers to develop a functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing space for a building's user. Prior to commencing work on any space various factors are to be undertaken by the interior decorator. These factors include the look and feel of the space involved, theme and module of the decoration, the ambiance to be created the architecture and traditional decoration if required. The demand of interior decoration has increased rapidly to an extent that you have firms and agencies opening up solely to serve the purpose. Today, interior designers must be attuned to architectural detailing including floor plans, home renovations, and construction codes. Some interior designers are architects as well.
Interior design is conceptualized by architects for both residential as well as commercial purposes. As the name suggests, residential designs deal with homes, where as commercial designs include offices, hotels, schools, hospitals or other public buildings. Some interior designers develop expertise within a niche design area such as hospitality, health care and institutional design. There is a wide range of disciplines within the career of interior design. Some of the disciplines include: structure, function, specialized performance, special group needs, discipline needed for business, computer technology, presentation skills, craft skills, social disciplines, promotional disciplines, professional disciplines, aesthetic disciplines, and disciplines with cultural implications. Areas of specialization in this field is continuously growing and changing. With various malls and multiplexes opening up in cities an increased focus have been applied to produce exotic designs and architecture making it look glamorous.
Interior Design is a costly franchise and the revenues that are earned are generally very high. The earnings vary based on employer, number of years with experience, and the reputation of the individual. In both cases residential and commercial charges are levied on an area basis (per square feet). Additional factors that determines the cost of the project is the location and demographic factor. Central metropolitan areas where costs of living expenses and median earnings are generally greater, the budget will be higher compared to suburbs and rural areas. Moreover the average square footage of homes and offices has increased over time; the scope of work performed translates directly to higher earnings. All in all the industry is flourishing big time. Almost every major corporate would hire an interior decorator prior to setting up an office. Celebrities hire their professional services to get their stage decorated before commencing with an event and every homebuyer does strive to save as much to get their house decorated.

[...] By asserting a radically opposing view, I was, among other things, using this stance to frame a polemic that calls into question what I perceive to be widely accepted approach to the conception and creation of SL’s built environment through direct real life (RL) reference. Creating complex spaces in SL by simply establishing a reference between a SL object and a RL semantic code, obfuscates the unique physical, social and (im)material qualities of a 3-dimensional immersive metaverse. An example of building by semantic reference is using a texture that mimics a brick or stone wall set between wood cross-beams to imply a house from Normandy (or a castle, a chic boutique, a baseball park, a shopping mall, whatever…) By pasting the image of a Norman constructive system to a specific form, size, shape, and proportion, we project a cognitive image of a functional intention… my home, for example. While this may, in fact, say something about the builder’s idea concerning the meaning of a home, it pre-supposes that home in SL is in fact, analogous to home in RL, and that my understanding of the sign, home, is the same as the builder’s. If not, its usage will not be consistent, the message not passed. What I’m advocating is that the meaning of the build, its usage and contextual significance, is induced from formal, atmospheric and socially driven experience with the space, rather than from a semantically referential one. While reference to RL architecture might work for some people, it begs the question for others : Architecture has always first and foremost offered shelter and security to its human inhabitants by partitioning the exterior, aggressive world by the creation of a safe, interior one, is and always has been, a medium for decoding the world around us. Through its basic, primeval role of defining the world between that which is secure or dangerous, human scale or vast, under control or savage, architecture has been a materialization of the passage from one state to the other, a device from which we could measure the world around us and a filter from which we could safely observe that which lies outside of its material capacity to enclose. Most importantly, this was accomplished using space as its substance. Architecture has always expressed as much about the life of its inhabitants, their ways of life –the interior of the edifice, as it has about their relationship to the world outside those walls –the exterior.
