Safe Lock Protect Do truck bed covers protect cargo from getting too hot?
I have a Roll-n-Lock bed cover on my Tacoma. I love it and know the benefits of saving gas and protecting cargo from rain. I am moving from the DC area to TX and the movers will not move anything flammable (ie. paint, cleaning supplies, candles, lighters, etc) so I will have to move those items myself in the back of my truck. As I'm driving the long distance with the sun beating down as a get farther south by the end of May, how safe are those type of items in the back of my covered truck bed? I'm assuming it should be okay, but would like further input to be sure.
NEVER put flamable/vaporous materials inside the cab with you. Vapors can be produced even at cooler temps and the last thing you need is for it to ignite inside the cab with you or have the vapors knock you out! (i had to say that due to the previous posters comment, sorry) As for transporting them in the bed of your truck under a Bed Cover, you should be fine. I've never known any camper shell, tonneou (sp) cover or deck lid to be air tight due to the trucks tailgate having huge air gaps and no rubber seals. Hence, no compression then no explosion. As for the canisters getting too hot, the air flow over the cover should keep temps under the cover about the same as air temp or slightly higher. I would just make sure that these canisters can't roll over or spill to create harmful vapors and make sure that these chemical will not react with each other (for example; chlorine and ammonia= very toxic fumes that will kill you.) I live in Mississippi and I have a Leer camper shell with glass windows. I travel all the time with generators, fuel cans, weedeaters, chainsaws, oils and other flamable items all the time. The air temp in my camper is actually cooler than the cab of the truck when left out in the sun for extended periods of time (cab is air tight compared to the camper shell). I dont think this is an issue at all but you can always contact the department of transportation and ask them their opinion. Good luck and drive safe. Also, you can check the "flash Point" of the items you're transporting. This will be under the OSHA warning. As for paint, latex you dont have to worry about. The oil based ones and especially the automotive kind and chemical coatings are more volitale. Most cleaning supplies are fine but some have petroleum products and/or alcohol. If it's acetone, leave it behind.

Any windows program that can password protect folder even when the drive is plugged into Linux PC?
I want to protect my folders with a password so that no one can access them. Although I have tried many locking programs, all of them are very weak. Their protection is easily broken under Real DOS, Safe Mode or if the drive is plugged into other PCs running different OS. Can anyone here recommend a truly powerful program that can protect my folders under those conditions. Thanks in advance .
BTW, I know encryption is the most secure way to do this but I just don't want. It's so slow and not suitable for me.
hey i seen signs from god and they threw me in the nut ward.i dont think im crazy but they did.they gave me geodon.dont tell any one i think. they will just give you more drugs and they dont help. Im a recovering meth addict and i dont take no meds any more cause i like seeing signs from god.many people have these experinces and where they mess up is they tell someone who doesnt belive in god or spirts or things like that.
