Safe Lockbox Lock How can I break into my lockbox/safe?
Okay, I am not trying to figure out how to do this so a can rob people i really need to know haha. I have a Honeywell lockbox with a digital code opener and also a key opener. the batteries of the digital code went dead and can only be changed through the inside of the box which is locked. i have the key, but after you turn the key you also have to turn another lock (similar to a deadbolt lock) to open it. The deadbolt lock is broken and the box will not open. I have pryed off the the deadbolt knob and everythng an cannot figure out how to open it. I really need help on how to get the lock open. PLEASE DO NOT SAY TO TAKE IT TO A LOCKSMITH BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO. AND ALSO DONT SAY TO USE A SAW OR FIRE BECAUSE THERE ARE VERY FRAGILE THINGS AND ALSO MONEY SO IM NOT GOING TO BURN IT OR SAW IT IN HALF. Thankyou.

The LBXDVR DVR enclosure is made of durable cold rolled steel and is painted with textured black powder-coat finish. Is it a hazard?
In my house the thermostat is kept in a lock box where no one can turn up the heat. The thermostat is set to 68 degrees which is fine except that we have huge windows that are not sealed properly and it gets really really cold in the house. Also the vents are in the stupidest places like underneath sinks inside cabinets. Also when the heat does come on it only comes on in 3 minute intervals at a very low power once every hour or so ...Basically the heat in our apartment is not sufficient for the 6 units that are heated off of one furnace! My landlord is a butthead, The only way i can make the heat come on is to put a bag of frozen vegies on the lockbox and this makes the heat coem on..but is this safe?? are there any hazards for why i shouldn't do this?? i don't know too much about furnaces but is this bad to make the heat come on like this??
This is funny! At my work we rigged up a soda and a paper clip for the same reason. From our experience- I work in a large office building- this may cause your unit to freeze- not that that is a bad thing for YOU- your but head landlord will have to repace the unit and with enough persistance you may get new duct work as well. Sounds like you live in what used to be a rather large house. The cabnets were added later on top of the duct work probably. Have fun with that- stay toasty!
