I want to know if it is illigal to use copyrighted materials for personal-non-profite purposes?
I'm making a Personal Movie in christmas.
Mainly I want to use game's Sound Effects (gun shots, walking, shouting) [maybe from Counter-Strike Game]
And Game's Soundtrack that I bought (Crisis Core Final Fantasy Soundtrack)
And few Music from Official Singers/Band. (maybe Evanescence) [not going to put the whole music, just as background sound + character's voices]
Just want to know, if I can be sued?

Yes, it is still illegal, unless the owner of the copyright gives permission. That's what "all rights reserved" means. You can take little snippets of things legally though (think samples).
However, for a personal movie, nobody's going to come after you and sue you. Only if you were to broadcast it widely, or make some money off of it, would they care.

How do police officers feel about gun control?
At first glance, I would assume Police Officers SUPPORT gun control because it would appear to keep the streets they work safer, however, when I really think about it... criminals are going to get the guns no matter what (they already do) so when you take guns away from people with honest intentions of personal protection, maybe it actually makes crime worse?
I am honestly undecided on gun control, but I was just curious if there would be a uniform response from Officers about how they feel and what might affect their responses (e.g., city cops vs rural cops)
Anyone want to weight in or offer some statistics on the issue? Any Officers out there with an opinion on the matter?
All gun control does is leave law abiding citizens defenseless against the scumbags who could care less for the laws others are willing to obey.
Criminals will have guns, can obtain guns regardless of whatever knee jerk gun control law some clueless politician passes. Go to the NRA's website and just read over some of the information provided there.
Sure there are politicians & some police officers (example- DC's Chief of Police) who feel that the police can protect you better than you can protect yourself.
Normally I frown from using statements like this, but in your question I think it is appropriate.
"Just remember- when seconds count, the Police are minutes away."
What the politicians should focus on is providing the funding so the police departments can adequately enforce the current gun laws and order the courts to stop allowing plea bargains and reduced charges when the criminal is faced with state or federal gun law violations- allowing those criminals to go back on the streets after a short jail sentence (if any) and go back to committing crimes with guns again.
