Safe Wall Outlet Small Amount of Water Possibly on Wall Outlet?
I was cleaning my turtle tank and i accidentally splashed a small amount of water behind the tank it ran down the wall and seemed to stop at the outlet but i'm not sure. I have one power strip plugged in here which has all the lighting, filters, etc plugged into. I unplugged it immediately and wiped the wall and i've had a fan blowing on it for approx 30-45 min. i cannot tell if water got into it or not it seems like the wall got most of it which was probably less than 2 oz of water. Is it safe to plug the power strip back into the wall? It is just a regular 3 prong outlet ... no reset buttons or anything
I would unscrew the outlet, take it off. If there is water in there you will know. if there is water in there, put gloves on your hands, and then take a towel and get all the water out. To be safe I would not plug anything back into the outlet for at least 24 hours, you can short the breakers if there is water in there and you electrocute something. You also may ruin whatever you plug in.

What uses a 6 volt DC or AC (whatever, a wall outlet) adapter?
I need a 6 volt adapter for an ethernet splitter modem thingy and I can't find the original. So what uses a 6 volt adapter, and if I find one, is it safe to use?
you can buy a general purpose AC adapter at Target or Walmart...it can do 1.5,3,4.5,6,9, or 12 volts and it has a bunch of different sizes and shapes of plugs to attach to it...that should have what you need.
