Safety Alarm Electronic
What are some safety equipment in houses?
I need to know some safety equipment in houses and make a chart for my science project. My teacher said it does not have to be an electronic. So what I have so far is: railing, smoke alarm, first aid kit, and fire hydrant (infront on home). Also someone said I could use window but i don't know how that is a safety equipment. I need few more. Please Help! Thanks you! 
carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher are two that I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck on the project!

i just bought some electronic burglar alarms for my house, is 105 dbA at 1 ft nominal TOO LOUD FOR MY DOGS?
i got the little alarms that attach to the door, with the other half of the magnet attaching to the door jam. when i tested it out, it was MUCH louder than i expected. it absolutely scared the crap outta my dogs. i know their hearing is so much more sensitive than ours. My question is: is 105 dbA just too loud for them to handle? obviously they're not gonna like having to listen to it, but if its not unbearable for them, my safety and peace of mind come first. But if its gonna hurt their ears or something like that i would rather not use it. they were freaked out for about 10 minutes after it went off that first time. so if anyone out their knows enough about dogs' bodies to answer my question, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
As long as it ony goes off if a burglar enters, your dogs will be OK. However, if it goes off frequently for testing it, or to show it to others, your dogs need to be outside or away from it. It does cause pain, and can damage their ear drums, so you would want it to ONLY go off for a true burglar. In that case it could be saving your life.
.Dogs can withstand 100dbas for short periods, as some dogs have a bark at that level..But, the high frequency is what is painful, and dangerous if prolonged.

I hope you don't mind my telling you, but you gave some dangerous advice in the dog section. A few M&Ms killed my precious pug, so it isn't wise to tell people that it takes a lot of chocolate to kill a dog. Some dogs are more sensitive to it than others.
