Should I Accept A Reward, I found a Stolen..? ?
purse. It was thrown on the side of a busy road, after circling 3 times i decided to park my car in the car and job a mile to get it, i looked inside the check book and saw a name of a store and so i figured this was the closed i could get to the owner. sure enough i pulled up and the store had a police getting a report, the owner came out, took one look at her stolen purse and then at me, and just broke out crying. apparently some guys were watching her and she left her purse in the car to get something really fast inside her store, and they snatched it! i found it 15mins later. now she wants to reward me with anything in her jewerly store. its nothing expensive just beads and strings and her ideas of making custom jewelry out of it....should i accept it? I feel sort of werid since they stole her social security and 600 bucks...what what you do??

I was once in a shopping center in areal seedy part of florida on vacation and had lost my wallet with $600 of vacation money in it. it had fallen out of a bathing suit and I thought well I'll never see that wallet again!
After I walked around about 20 mins. A young black kid found me and returned it with every dollar in it. he was around 12-14. I was so dumbfounded by it all I forgot to thank him properly. I had to run catch him and I gave him a $50 dollar reward which he didnt want to take at first, But I told him not to worry. That he had Just Made my Day. (Not with Just the fact that he Found my money, but he had also restored my faith that there is good in people in all walks of life.)

i GOT ON TROUBLE HELP?
Ok I got a job at a dept store on a military base. I work with expensive jewelry, designer purses, and expensive perfume, sunglasses...etc. I work here for 3 weeks. I know that they have been watching me too see if I can work good and stuff. Well I was cleaning the fake jewelery and I took a back to a earrings and put it on. I lost min earlier there working. Well the head of security called me and told me that she say me take it.
then we filled out a report of everything she mentioned and she told me to sign it. I told her that i am not theft and i didn;t mean to take it. I was thinking it was a big deal. Well I guess it is to her. So after we filled all the paper work out, she said i could go back to work. I ask what is going to happen to me and she couldn't tell me, So I just quit, right then and there. My husband is in Kuwait. Do you think they are going to make a big deal about this stupid incident? It was dumb i kno.
the military and the store are two seperate things...
so the military isn't going to even know about this it's not their job or anything.
if you quit it will probably be the end of it.
i dont know if you signed it or not but it was probably just the form that goes over the write up. you probably just got a warning/counseling, and these days employers like to document them, so that is why they make you sign it....
but you should never act like the merchandise you sell at work is yours while you work, fyi.
