Security Panic Button
My Lexus security system doesn't function properly. Anyone know why?
Recently, I've been experiencing some problems. When I press lock on my remote, the car will not lock, but if I press unlock on the remote, the car will unlock. (This is not a mechanical failure. The door locks are in perfect shape and work with the button inside the car)
Also, the panic button doesn't work anymore. The light on the remote will blink red, but nothing will happen. I know its not a problem with a remote, and when I replaced my car battery, the key started functioning and I could unlock at least 10 times, but now its messed up again.
This is a 2000 Lexus ES300.
Anyone know why or how to reset it? Thanks!
You most likely have a bad battery in the key. Have the battery replaced and your poroblems might go away. The reset procedure is fairly complex and if it is just a battery you would actually unprogram all the remotes to the car by doing it.

Help!! I'm like the owner, but, really not at my work, I'm my own boss, but, don't own it,?
I have a crazy, I mean literally crazy person where I work/live, and it's kinda like an apartment, and she gives me all these stories why she can't pay and such, and I'm finally fed up with her and am evicting her, and her things, but, she's mentally crazy and I acted like one of the owners today, well a friend three way did it for me, and she went crazy and hung-up...I've been very patient with her, let her get away with not paying for so long my job could be on the line if I let it continue...I'm scared to death of her, but, I always act nice so she won't go nuts on me like the first time I met her...I have security ect..notified the owner of this, but, I feel bad for her, but, I work and I'm not even supposed to work I'm disabled, and work very hard, why do I feel so bad for her when she's capable of working, but, doesn't work, but, I'm scared of her, how do I handle this tomorrow when she comes in, I do have a panic button..but, it's her or my job and have two kids in college,

Maybe you don't have the strength to stand up for yourself. And your college kids. And your job. Maybe you give all your money the homeless, throw open your home for them to use. Give them your children's education money and all your food and savings.
I don't think so.
Listen, lady, either quit your job because you don't have the guts to to heavy lifting, or get this deadbeat out of there. Stop acting scared and wimpy. Stop feeling sorry for her. Do your job.
If you don't and get fired, should I feel sorry for you?
