Sentry Safe Does anyone know how to open a sentry safe.."?
I have a SENTRY safe that I have undoubtedly lost my key that goes to it, I contacted the company and I would have needed to have registered the safe when I bought it or be able to provide the receipt. I purchased this safe over 12 years ago and have had it in my storage unit for the past 3 years, so locating the receipt is out of the question. Any suggestions?
Might want to call a lock smith, and they probably want you to sign a waver or something to prove the contents are yours when they open it.
If it was one of these $100 Fire safes, you might just want to get a good drill, electric sawsall and a hammer and try to open it yourself. Im sure you can get into it in a few hours, just need to be carefull depending on whats inside.

I have a Sentry Valuegaurd 1310 safe but I don't know the combination!?
It was my mother's safe but she passed away two months ago. She had a Sentry Valuegaurd safe but didn't leave a combination. So I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the company's website or if I can get the combination. There are some numbers on the front, would those help?

Try a different code. Does the factory code work to open it? Does it beep when you hit the keys? You should try new batteries. Once you get your code set, make sure that you can unlock it before you close the door.
