Sign Double Arrows
if there is a double arrow handicapped sign does that mean the spots adjacent are reserved handicapped spaces?
there is a double arrow handicapped sign in front of my apartment. My father parked in one of the spots adjacent to the sign and go a nasty note on his car, saying this was someones spot and not to park here again. I know for a fact this person is not handicapped. the apartment complex is leasing this space to a non-handicapped person. when i called to complain, te manager told me she "understands how i could think that wa a handicapped spot. " i thought it was pretty universal that the double arrow meant the adjacent spots. Anyways, my questions are does a double arrow sign mean that the spots adjacent are also handicapped? Can my apartment complex rent a handicapped spot to someone who is not? They also told me they were going to look into changing the sign? is it that simple? I thought these things had to go through the city or something like that.
Contact the roads/licence/registration people in your area. They are the people who make the rules.
