does anyone know how to run battlefield 2 on ati radeon 9250?

everytime i start the game, after the intro the screen turns black but the sound is working and the games doesn't crashes. suprisingly i managed to go to the single player but unfortunately there is no screen. i can hear the footsteps of my player adn the guns shooting. does anyone know how solve this display issue?. (remember everything works but the screen is black)

Even if you update the drivers it will still be too slow by far to run this game well.

It only supports DirectX 8.1 games anyway, so it's going to look like crap as well.

Adrian and Paul Gurvitz might be better known for their travels with Ginger Baker in the Baker Gurvitz Army, but in the late '60s the brothers helmed the heavy rock trio Gun and caught a whiff of success in the U.K. with their debut single "Race with the Devil." Using the less-ethnic surname Curtis, Adrian (guitar) and Paul (bass) teamed up with drummer Louis Farrell and pounded out some distinctive psych-flavored proto-metal. Floating about in the mix along with the guitar pyrotechnics and drum workouts are brass and string sections that aren't always welcome, but "Race with the Devil" uses these potentially square instruments well, adding texture to an otherwise brutal stomp. "Yellow Cab Man" is the highlight of the set, a hard pop number with a buzzing guitar hook and frantic, heavily distorted soloing from Adrian. The obligatory freak-out comes with the finale, the 11-minute "Take Off" which begins with the sound of jet roar, then explodes into feedback, drum solos, backward guitars, and silly psychedelic exhortations to "take a deep breath and try to count to five." Elsewhere are half-baked orchestral interludes and some questionable songwriting chops, but the band is truly firing on all cylinders throughout and their interplay is solid like a fist. When Gun pours it on, the results are visceral and exciting enough to forgive the occasional wrong turn. The album artwork is impressively grotesque for the era, a flaming mass of squirming demons that wouldn't be out of place on a Slayer T-shirt today. There isn't any Satanism invoked in the grooves of Gun, but it's a lost gem for fans of the power trio format. ~ Fred Beldin

The most powerful handgun in the world

Any civilian-legal semi auto belt fed rifles?

I was wondering if there were any semi-auto rifles that are belt-fed, or can be converted to belt-fed, for the sake of looking cool and being unique in my gun collection. I know that they sell stuff like the RPK to the civilian market, which is not a gun that for any useful reason would have a semi-only trigger, so i figure they're either switching receivers, or purposefully making civilian models of "machine guns", in which case it raises my hopes for seeing something belt fed.

Obviously there will always be custom work, but i'm not looking to ever spend more than $1500 on any single rifle.

Alternatively, would they have a parts kit out there somewhere, like with a cut receiver, that i could cosmetically repair and put together for display purposes? I may have better odds finding that.

They don't have a civilian model of the m249 SAW out yet, do they?

If i could get something belt fed that worked, i would use it to hunt gophers from the roof of my house.

There's the 1919A4, which is a belt fed LMG remanufactured into a semi-auto only "rifle". It is avalible in .308, .30-06, and 8mm Mauser.

Then there is it's big brother, the M2HB, the famous US .50 caliber Browning Heavy Machine Gun...Again remanufactured as a semi-auto "rifle".

There are semi-auto versions of the MG34 avalible for sale on the market these days,

...As well as Soviet-Bloc RPD's and PKM's.

There is even a direct ancestor of the M249 avalible in semi-auto- The famous 7.62 NATO FN MAG!

Looking for something a little smaller? There are at least 2 belt fed .22LR rifles currently on the market, .......and one in .17mach2!

Go find yourself a copy of the magazine Shotgun News. The manufacturers of all the above guns advertise with them and almost all can be found in any one issue.

The market is loaded with semi-auto belt fed guns...
....and the gophers are in TROUBLE.
