Small Security Can American companies really hire a small heavily armed "security group"?
So I want to know how much of this is film lies or if it is real.
Films/tv shows that show evil corporations, always show a small yet heavily armed security force. They are normally armed with machine guns and other weapons that make the police look like a joke. Most of these men are normally ex marines or with other connections to the military.
So is it legal to have security groups like this or is it just made up?

Yes they can. However they are restricted to legal weapons. So in the United States no machine guns, no rocket launchers and no grenades. Now in some other countries they may indeed be permitted such weapons.

For example, if some one (stupid) carried a few grams of an illegal drug like marjiuana through an airport and on a plane, would anyone ever know? Do they have special detectors or anything, besides drug dogs...they can find anything just about. what if it is hidden on/in the body...
