Clarence Birdseye, a Government field naturalist, is working as a fur trader in Labrador. He has noticed that freshly caught fish, when placed onto the Arctic ice by the Eskimos and exposed to the icy wind and frigid temperatures, freezes solid almost immediately. Yet when the fish is thawed and eaten, it still has all its fresh characteristics. He has concluded that quickly freezing certain items keeps large crystals from forming. SEE DB

2. Those who must consume autotrophs, to get energy. "heterotrpohs", most bacteria, most fungi, all animals and therefore...us humans.
