2010 Range Rover Sport safety & performance testing - NRMA Driver's Seat
Does the Color of the street / sport bike really make much difference when it comes to safety?
I was looking at a blue street bike but I don't really like the paint scheme and I was thinking of painting it black. But I have heard from a few people that it might not be to good of an idea to do that because it wouldn't stand out much.
But would it really make that much difference? From the back view of a street bike most of it is black anyways... I'm just wondering how much more likely I would be to get hit if it was black vs say blue?
In most cases, the color of the bike really does not matter.
Truth be told, I got cut off on my blue one, got creamed on a red one, was ok on a green one, and people got out of my way on the black ones. The same thing seems to happen with the white one. Especially in winter. Makes no sense.
