Survey: What is the best course of action to take for the brat that lives down the street?
Every day the school bus lands this one little boy walks across my front porch and stands at the door (if front door is open) and makes faces and obscene gestures at my dogs. Hiding in the garage and turning on the sprinkler system as he walked across the lawn is getting kind of boring.
I think it would be cool to sneak up on him and blare one of those compressed noise things they use at basketball games. Also, get a recording of a big viscous dog and play it when he gets close.

protecting guinea pigs?
in less than a year i am going to be moving, and i will be taking my guinea pigs with me, i currently have them semi free range, which although people claim is cruel i disagree, my cats (actually my mums) are very cool with them they even kip together in sunny weather. my dogs do not mind them either and night time i just pop their hedgehog house (where they sleep and hide when things get a bit scary for them) in a shed then put it out again next morning. so they are completely safe. but when i move i will not have the cats and probably wont have a dog for a while but i do not want to deny then their free range lifestyle. if there anyway i can give them that at their new house?
could motion sprinklers be used?

I would try putting chicken wire on top of thier encloser so that way nothing will get into their pen. This should keep them safe but motions sprinklers would help also.
