RANDOM NIGHT?
Who is probably better: French 2me Parachutiste Regimente, German GSG-9, or British SAS?
Or, do they train with each other so much these days that the differences are too small to tell? Also, how would the Canadian JTF-2 stack up against these European elites?
(God bless protect and defend Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the amazing warriors of the Royal Marines!)
SAS and SBS are still i think regarded as the best, Their training IS considered to be the best and they have had the most Battle experience.
But as you say all units train and work together nowadays, so a SAS and SBS unit could be made up of ,South African, Australian, Canadian etc forces alongside the British.
We often have French, USA, German soldiers attached to our airborne unit and i have recently been away attatched with the Gurkas, so i guess each is learning from each other,.
But if i had to choose just 1 to rescue me it'd be the SAS/SBS due to their experience.
