Stackable Office File
Is there a simple file system to make for a home office?
I remember hearing about stackable trays with labels to file misc. mail and bills.
I think it was:
1. File
2. Read
3. Send
4. Throw
The best filing system is one where you don't let things pile up.
You go through the mail DAILY, tossing/shredding the stuff you're not keeping. You file the stuff you're saving in their appropriately labeled files (in a filing cabinet) immediately (or at the end of the week if you MUST let them pile up).
You process correspondence as it needs to be handled. Bill paying is done all at once, weekly or bi-weekly.
This way you don't need a separate filing system in order to figure out what needs to be filed...it cuts out an extra step and saves TONS of time in the end.
